While many students succeed with support at their neighborhood school, some may benefit from more intensive programming. For those students, we offer specialized, self-contained classrooms at select elementary schools.

Students with significant disabilities who require a more structured and supportive setting to make educational progress or those who benefit from daily living skills instruction integrated with academics may be recommended by their IEP team to attend one of these schools:

• Laura Wilder Elementary

• Marcella LeBeau Elementary

• Susan B. Anthony Elementary

• Terry Redlin Elementary

For students whose emotional or behavioral needs significantly impact their learning, highly structured, individualized programs are available at:

• Horace Mann Elementary

All placement decisions in specialized programs are made as part of the IEP process, with parents playing a central role in those conversations.
