They are more aware of the world, and their place in it, than I think most of us realize. Students need a voice to share their big ideas, concerns, and innovative solutions and stepping onto the ‘big red dot’ at the TEDx Youth Sioux Falls event gives them a powerful opportunity to connect with our community. I hope parents, community members, and business owners will join us to learn what is on the minds of our future leaders.”

About TEDx = Independently Organized Event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
