Public School Proud Grant Winner sign

The Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation has recently started awarding Public School Proud Grants! The organization is planning on another record-breaking year in both the number of grants awarded and the total dollar amount granted. Each week through May, we will feature recent winners as a way to celebrate the educators who are dreaming big to give their students amazing opportunities. 

The first four grant recipients were... 

Holly Renken, Tim Gergel, & Amy Johnson at Patrick Henry for the grant, "Supporting Reluctant Readers" -- $869.10

Sue Zueger at Memorial for the grant, "It's a Muse Thing: Improving Literacy in the Makerspace Environment" -- $6,929.78

Gerrad LaBue at Memorial for the grant, "Pickelball Club" -- $369.97

Alysa Hershman at Hayward for the grant, "Ukuleles" -- $1,822.75
