If technology knows no limits, why should the game of soccer?! We are beyond excited for the launch (literally) of our new Drone Soccer program that will take place in our CLC afterschool program at Whittier, Ben Reifel, and Patrick Henry Middle Schools. (For our Harry Potter fans, think of it like a real-life Quidditch game, minus our students flying through the air on broomsticks 😂).
Sixteen middle schoolers got a bit of a head start this week by participating in our first-ever Drone Soccer Camp, where they learned how to build, repair, and fly the drones before putting their new skills to the test in the first practice match.
This is an exciting new education esport that combines STEM, teamwork, problem-solving, and LOTS of fun!
