This free event is designed for elementary-aged students to enjoy holiday-themed activities, games, and crafts. Families are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to help spread some Christmas cheer to other students in need.

A big shout-out to our students for their commitment to being here every day!
In November, 121 students achieved perfect attendance, and 133 had outstanding attendance, missing fewer than two days. Great job!
Our daily attendance challenge with Laura B. Anderson Elementary is still going strong—let’s keep it up! Make sure your student is here every day at 7:40!
Looking ahead, we’re kicking off a 10-day attendance challenge from December 6 to December 20. Students with perfect attendance during this time will receive a special treat to take home on the 20th. Let’s finish 2024 strong! 🎉

Choose Well Wednesday
We’re excited to share that Hawthorne students are participating in the Choose Well Program with Mister Bown! Every Wednesday this engaging program focuses on teaching students the importance of making positive choices, building strong character, and developing lifelong skills for success. Through interactive activities and meaningful discussions, students are empowered to take responsibility for their actions and foster a supportive school community. We’re thrilled to see the impact of this program on our students!
