Mr. Sheets made the 100th Eagle Way Call of the Day! These are for students who are frequently SOARing! Mr. Sheets calls home and tells parents how proud we are of their student and they earn a token for the book vending machine!

Susan B. Anthony welcomed back Jean, from Delta Dental, to teach students about dental hygiene. Students also received dental supplies from Delta Dental! Big thanks to Jean!

Kindergarten wants to say thank you to the Daughters of the American Revolution and Promising Futures for this amazing learning opportunity! They have sponsored a literacy grant that partners with the Great Plains Zoo and Butterfly House. The Zoomobile brought three ambassador animals: a hognose snake named Winnie, Madagascar hissing cockroach, and a Russian turtle. Students also received a book, What Do You Do with a Tail Like This?
Friday, January 23, 2026, will be a Remote Learning Day in the Sioux Falls School District!
iPads and Chromebooks were sent home with each student earlier today. We will not have in-person learning in the schools, but students are expected to connect to their Canvas account from home for assignments and learning resources. They have practiced this at school and know what is expected of them.
