Oscar Howe participated in Jumpstart's Read for the Record on Thursday. Jumpstart celebrates literacy by trying to set a record each year for the number of people reading the same book on the same day. Last year it reached 2.3 million people. This year Oscar Howe contributed by having 598 people Read for the Record. This year's book was Piper Chen Sings by Phillipa Soo and Maris Pasquale Doran.
