Before their winter party, the students in 401 made winter care kits for people in need. Each student packed a two-gallon bag with a card of encouragement and items to help make someone's day just a little easier to get through, such as hand warmers, hats, gloves, socks, food items, waters, sweet treats and more! During this season we wanted to give students the opportunity to experience the joy found in giving to others.

Today students celebrated our Nov/ Dec SOAR slip challenge. The goal was 8,000 SOAR slips. Students at Terry Redlin DOUBLED the goal! Students celebrated with a holiday read aloud with a sweet treat and a pajama day! #SOAR

"Well, in Terry Redlin-Ville they say - that the Grinch's BIG hearts grew three times bigger that day."

Band & Orchestra Matinee was full of holiday cheer! Don't forget the evening performance is tonight 12/18 at 6pm.
