Bravo to the cast and crew of Shrek Jr. The Musical! 🎭✨ Their hard work, talent, and teamwork truly paid off on stage. From the performers in the spotlight to the stage crew who made it all happen, it takes a team to create something this magical—and they did just that!
We’d also like to recognize the outstanding creative team—Nancy Henrichsen, Kayla Snyder, Gaea Noordsy, Mrs. Meyer, and Mrs. Stadem—for their creativity that brought this show to life. 💫
We are proud of the time, effort, and heart everyone poured into every rehearsal and performance. Thank you for sharing these talents with the Patrick Henry community! 🎶

Wednesday is April 1—April Fool’s Day! 👀 It’s also National Walking Day 🚶♀️🚶♂️—get outside and get moving if the weather cooperates!
Be sure to check out the details below for everything happening this week! 📅

💚Opening night was a hit!💚
Our students rocked their first performance of Shrek Jr. the Musical last night—and they’re ready to do it again! Join us tonight or Saturday and see for yourself!

8th graders put their knife skills to the test with a fresh Pico de Gallo & Guacamole lab, while 7th graders whipped up light and delicious Lemon Soufflés. 🍴✨
In FCS, it’s more than just cooking—students step into real kitchen roles like Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Assistant while practicing the mise en place method (“everything in its place”) just like the pros.
Before they ever step into the kitchen, students must pass a safety assessment (80% or higher!) and follow important kitchen guidelines to keep everyone safe and successful. 🔪✅
💡 Fun fact: A sharp knife is actually safer than a dull one—it cuts cleanly and is less likely to slip!
From teamwork to life skills, these labs are helping students build confidence one recipe at a time. 💛

🍔✨ Burgers for a cause = the best kind of combo! ✨🍔
Skip cooking tonight and head to Red Robin—where your meal helps the Patrick Henry! 🙌

Charlotte brings incredible energy and positivity to every performance, always lifting up those around her. Momo is being recognized for her outstanding accomplishments and leadership on the Tennis team earlier this Fall, representing our school with dedication and excellence. Great work, Panthers! 💙💛🐾

Our bracket of 16 favorite candies kicked off last week, and we’re already down to the Elite 8! The competition is heating up as students vote each week to decide which candy advances. 🔥
Will chocolate take the crown, or will a fruity favorite pull off the upset? 👀
Stay tuned to see which candy comes out on top! 🍫🍭

Looks like the weather is keeping us on our toes! ❄️➡️☀️ After this weekend’s snow, we’re looking forward to warmer days ahead as 7th and 8th grade track practices begin this week. It’s also the final performance of the season for our Performance Dance team on Tuesday at George McGovern — good luck, Panthers! And don’t forget: No School Friday for students and staff. 🐾

After some friendly competition, great rallies, and plenty of laughs, the students came out on top this year! 👏 The staff gave it their best effort, but the student teams showed some serious volleyball skills.
Thanks to all the students and staff who played and cheered from the sidelines — staff might need a little extra practice before the rematch next year! 😄🐾

Alissa is recognized for her leadership, positivity, and willingness to keep improving while supporting her teammates. Horacio has been a tremendous team player all season, bringing leadership, energy, and encouragement both on and off the court.
Great work, Panthers! 💙💛🐾
