Here's where you can support your Mustangs in action this week! #MMSMustangStrong

We thank and honor all veterans on this Veterans Day. It's not just a day off of school, it's a day to remember those who serve our country in the armed forces. Thank you for your selfless service to the people in our nation. We appreciate all you have done.

Our school-wide food drive starts on Monday! Monday's food of the day is canned vegetables. Each can will get one point for the student's team. We are also accepting monetary donations. Thanks for helping others in our community!

Can you spot the Mustangs taking part in the all-district Orchestra festival!??Congratulations to our musicians on a job well done! Check out the full recording of the event on the district's YouTube page: https://youtu.be/iqJp7HRlxOM

In South Dakota today, there are individuals and families who find themselves without enough money to make ends meet, let alone purchase food. At the same time, there are also families, organizations, and businesses that have extra time and treasures to share. Feeding South Dakota exists to transfer that abundance to those in need. Help us help others by donating to our food drive starting next Monday!

We are thankful to participate in our election process for Memorial community members! Precinct voting will be available at Memorial from 7a-7p today. For more information on voting in Sioux Falls, check out the city's website: https://t.ly/KF7w

No athletics competitions this week, but basketball practice is officially underway! Stay tuned in the next weeks to see where to cheer on your Memorial Mustangs! #MMSMustangPride

Congratulations to our Students of the Month for October! These students exemplify the Mustang Way. Thanks for being a great part of our school community!

And with a blink of an eye, we are already a quarter way through the 2022-2023 school year! The second quarter is here, and it’s a busy one! While this time of year tends to get chaotic, it’s important to remember how crucial student attendance is. Chronic absenteeism is a serious problem in South Dakota - a problem SFSD is committed to improving. Missing just two days a month can hurt a student’s grades and increase their chance of dropping out. Make sure your student is on the path to a bright future – and that starts in the classroom!

Our monthly newsletter is a great way to keep up with us. Check out the latest issue to learn what we've done since the last time you heard from us and to get the scoop on any new events that are coming soon! https://www.smore.com/q3d58-november-newsletter-2022

Tomorrow is our annual Staff Vs. Student Volleyball Game! Admission is $1 or a canned food item. We are raising money for Feeding South Dakota and Project Warm Up. Can't wait to see you there!

Last Friday, we wore pink to support our Memorial community members who have been affected by cancer. Thanks to the students and staff who participated!

Memorial's Butter Braid® Pastry fundraiser continues until October 31! Help us reach our goal by purchasing delicious pastries! We will deliver your pastries when they arrive. Thank you in advance for your support

I'm not a fan of the way I looked in my school photo. But, luckily, I've got someone to help turn it around! Picture retakes are tomorrow!
