Memorial Middle School's National History Day students raised $613.28 at the Tea Pizza Ranch Community Impact Fundraising Event on May 11, 2026. The funds will support MMS students competing at the National History Day competition at the University of Maryland in June. Thank you to all who attended!
An Athletics Parent Meeting will be held Thursday, May 14th at 7:00 PM for families of current 6th and 7th grade students planning to participate in MMS athletics during the 2026–27 school year.

The MMS Spring Band Concerts are Monday and Tuesday, May 11–12, 2026 at the MMS Auditorium. Matinees: May 11 — 6th Grade at 1:25 PM; May 12 — 8th Grade at 2:15 PM, 7th Grade at 3:10 PM. Evening Concerts: May 11 — 6th Grade Green Band at 6:30 PM, Silver Band at 7:15 PM; May 12 — 7th Grade at 6:30 PM, 8th Grade at 7:15 PM.

Week of May 11–15: Student of the Month Breakfast is Monday at 7:45 AM. 6th Grade Band Matinee and Evening Concerts are on Monday; 7th and 8th Grade Band Matinees and Evening Concerts are on Tuesday. 8th Grade Boys and Girls Soccer vs PHMS is on Monday. Memorial Middle School congratulates the April recipients of the Challenger Core Value Awards. These students were recognized for exemplifying the MMS core values of Community, Act Responsibly, Respect, and Excellence in their daily school lives.

Connections Program for Incoming Freshmen: 8th graders transitioning to a Sioux Falls public high school this fall are encouraged to sign up for the Connections summer program. Students earn 0.5 credits and get an early introduction to high school life. Dates: May 26–29 and June 1–3. Cost: $100. Register at https://bit.ly/connectionsrhs. Space is limited.
