Girls Basketball Update!
Wednesday - 7th and 8th grade girls basketball practice after school.
Thursday - 7th and 8th grade basketball games at George McGovern.
7th D and 8th C will both play at 4:15.
7th C will play at 5:15.
There will be NO SCHOOL today, Tuesday, January 9, 2024 because travel is not yet safe in the neighborhoods near schools.

Throughout the month of November, students and staff wrote what they were thankful for on a leaf and added to our Thankful tree.
WEB leaders visited their 6th grade Protimes and played a fun name game! These relationships between 6th and 8th graders are so important as the transition into to middle school continues.

Spanish 1 students made sugar skulls to celebrate the Day of the Dead earlier this month.
8th grade volleyball players had the opportunity to visit the University of South Dakota. While there, the students interacted with current college students, toured the campus, and attend a volleyball game. All the players had a blast cheering on the Coyotes to a victory. Thank you to Promising Futures for providing these amazing opportunities for our students!

Garden Club used potatoes grown in the McGovern Garden to make a snack at their last meeting! Parmesan potato bites were enjoyed by all!
