8th grade basketball players traveled to University of South Dakota to attend a college basketball game. Along with attending the game, the players heard about college life and got to ask questions to current students. Thank you Promising Futures for this amazing opportunity.

Expressions, GMMS show choir, performed the National Anthem at the Sioux Falls Skyforce game a few weeks ago. They did an amazing job! Way to go Eagles!
Tuesday, Feb 20 is a NO SCHOOL day, so be sure to stop by Oscar Howe Elementary for the second Community Health & Wellness fair, put on by the Community Learning Centers! There are lots of activities for kids, tons of community vendors, and amazing prizes for all!

Join us on Friday, January 26 at 7:00 for BINGO. The GMMS music department is hosting a fundraiser at Giving Hope Bingo Hall in Sioux Falls. All are welcome to join! Cost to play is $43 for adults and $15 for kids.
Last month, our GMMS Jazz Band was invited to play at the Jefferson High School Jazz, Pans, and Pastries concert. The JHS Cabs even joined them to play Frosty the Snowman. Thanks for the invite, JHS! #northwestisbest
