It's a busy week coming up, Whittier! Music kicks it off with the Spring Orchestra Concert Monday & 5th Grade Band Festival Tuesday. Spring MAP Testing continues on Wednesday with Reading. Soccer wraps up Thursday and the Whittier Poetry Slam's on Friday -- we can't wait!
This Spring, Kiley Reynolds, Success Coordinator at Whittier, has been teaching students how to cook with food pantry items through her "Pantry Cooking Workshops". The club had multiple cooking sessions, with one being "Pancake Week" where students learned to make pancakes and were able to take them home with syrup for the weekend. Cheers to learning valuable life skills AND enjoying delicious food! #CreativityInTheClassroom
