Seventh grade had a great day of learning about different cultural traditions from around the world. One of the activities involved carving radishes. This tradition comes from Mexico and is called “The Night of the Radishes”, Noche de Rábanos. #CreativityInTheClassroom


In the week leading up to winter break, 8th grade 3-D Textiles students competed in a Gingerbread House contest. Look at what an amazing job they did decorating these houses! Not to be left out, 6th grade Math students got in on the building fun, too! #CreativityInTheClassroom

Congratulations to our December Whittier Way & Student of the Month winners! For #WhittierWay students were selected for always being willing to lend a hand and support their peers. Student of the Month nominees demonstrate active listening with empathy, attention, and respect.



Yesterday, 8th grade students had an assembly with Officer Neal and K-9 Officer Fox and dog, Rex. They shared about the process of becoming an officer, how they train the K-9’s, and our rights as citizens.
