After School UPDATE: No athletics, Homework Help, or Detention tonight. All buses will leave upon dismissal of school. The bus to ASP at YMCA will be 15 minutes late. There will not be a 5:30PM Activities Bus or 5:30PM transportation from Whittier to ASP at YMCA tonight.
This week has seen Whittier students competing in a giant game of Rock Paper Scissors, gaining beads as they won! The students with the most beads were brought in as finalists for a final battle yesterday afternoon. Congratulations to all the finalists on games well-won!

Welcome to a new week! The big news this week: the inaugural HeART of the City Annual Art Show is taking place at Whittier on Friday evening. The event was rescheduled from the snow days back in January. FREE to attend and benefits Whittier students! What more could you ask for?!
The inaugural heART of the City Annual Art Show will be held at Whittier on Friday, April 19 from 5-7:30pm. Check out 2D, 3D, and wearable art made from snack bags & boxes, created by local artists of all ages! The show is open to the public and will benefit Whittier students.
It's a busy week, Whittier! A couple important things to note: 1) Wednesday is the last day to pre-order a yearbook, and 2) State Testing takes place on Thursday for all grades and Friday for 8th grade only. Be sure to charge up and bring in your Chromebooks! #WeekAtWhittier
