Nine Roosevelt DECA students traveled to Milwaukee this past weekend for the DECA Central Region Leadership Conference. They attended leadership workshops, motivational seminars and competed against peers from 13 states in business competitions.

Sioux Falls School District is sponsoring two college visits. Juniors and seniors can sign up to visit the University of South Dakota in Vermillion on December 1 or South Dakota State University in Brookings on November 30. To sign up please, stop by counseling to get your name on the list. Numbers are limited and first come, first serve basis. Talk to your school counselor if you have questions.



Roosevelt students attended the Let's Talk About Work Conference. They learned about searching for jobs, interviewing, and much more. Great experience!




Mark your calendars! Roosevelt Drama presents: Our Place. It's a one-hour performance about how one location -- a dock -- can bring different meaning and memories for so many different people. This bittersweet drama will perform on December 1-3 at 7pm and December 3 at 2pm in the Roosevelt High School auditorium. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased a half hour prior to the production.

NEW! Due to inclement weather/hazardous road conditions across the state, the SoDak 16 volleyball matches scheduled for Wed, Nov 9, 2022 have been postponed. School Admin and SD High School Activities Association are working to find a new date/time.

The SDHSAA has approved this one-time schedule change for the safety of athletes, coaches, and fans traveling across the state. The games to be played in the eastern half of the state remain scheduled for Thursday. Please check with your schools/coaches for any additional information.
