The Old Courthouse Museum put on a program for our first graders. They talked about how the native Americans used their resources, mainly the buffalo, created their homes and they even got to see a demonstration on how they would set up their teepees! The first graders also got to feel and explore different parts of the buffalo; like the hide, the tail, and the horns.

Parents, We are looking for small incentive certificates, gift cards, or tokens to give to students as rewards for various reasons. Examples would be: free ice cream cone, free donut, free fountain pop, free game play, etc.. If you work for a business that would be willing to provide several small tokens of appreciation for student use, please reach out to them for us or call us and let us know who to contact for assistance. We appreciate any assistance you can give us in collecting these incentives for our students.

No School Monday, November 11th in observance of Veteran's Day. enjoy the long weekend and thank a VETERAN for their service. **Also, now that we are into November and colder weather has arrived, please be sure to have all of your students cold weather gear ready each day! We do go out for recess everyday unless it is actively raining or below zero temps! **PLEASE put your childs NAME on their gear, lunch boxes and water bottles. We have SO many items in the Lost and Found that never make it back to their owners. Name tags are so very helpful!!
