It was Ms. Hope's last day in 3rd grade this week. 3rd grade students became a platoon member of Organwise Guys Platoon. Their last treat was a veggie pillow.

The 100th day of school was Thursday, February 8. Renberg students celebrated the 100th day of school with many fun activities.
The Sioux Falls School District does not have school on Monday, February 19, and Tuesday, February 20, in observance of President's Day. School will resume on Wednesday, February 21st. Wednesday is Whisker Wednesday, so be sure that you wear your Renberg t-shirt!!
Tuesday, Feb 20 is a NO SCHOOL day, so be sure to stop by Oscar Howe Elementary for the second Community Health & Wellness fair, put on by the Community Learning Centers! There are lots of activities for kids, tons of community vendors, and amazing prizes for all!
Firefighters from the Sioux Falls Fire Department came to Renberg on Friday to hang out with students during recess. Students had a great time with them!

Renberg had Book Buddies on Thursday! The students enjoyed getting to read with students from other grades. They had such a great time. We can't wait to do it again! 📚😃

For the month of January we focused on the skill of Respect. We are proud of all our students of the month! 201 earned the Golden Art and Music Awards. 301 earned the Golden Library Award. 501 earned the Golden P.E. Award. Great job to all Bobcats for showing Respect in January! During the month of February we will work on showing Ownership.
We had some special visitors at our assembly. Four firefighters from Sioux Falls came to visit. They will be visiting our school twice a month at lunch and recess. The students are very excited for that!
