WHAT. A. TURNOUT! Bingo night was a HUGE success thanks to ALL of you!! Thank you for coming out with your families & playing bingo with us! We're so happy to be able to have these in-person events again & enjoyed seeing everyone come together for some fun! We hope you all had a great time! A huge thank you to the PTA for putting on this event & for ALL the amazing volunteers who showed up to help things run smoothly!

How awesome is this?! A group of 5th grade friends came up with the idea to dress like their specials teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week! What a fun idea!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so thankful for all of the amazing teachers at Laura Wilder & in the Sioux Falls community! Thank you for all you do each & every day!

Students in 301 read "The Great Paper Caper" by Oliver Jeffers in library today. After Mrs. Westra read the book to the class, they got to make their own paper airplanes to fly in the library! Their challenge was to get their airplanes stuck in super awesome (& difficult places throughout the library). They had a blast with this activity!!

2nd - 5th graders had a bookmark design contest in library! Everyone who wanted to participate was able to design their very own bookmark & the winners' design would be printed for all the students to take & enjoy. Students who participated in this contest did such a FABULOUS job! We could really see their art skills being put to work! :) Congratulations to the winners! As National Volunteer Week comes to an end, we'd like to say a HUGE "THANK YOU" to our friends at Asbury United Methodist Church. From volunteering their time at school events, to helping inside the building, 'adopting' a classroom for the year, providing new games for classrooms, sending students Valentine's, and SO, SO much more! We are so blessed to have such an amazing partnership with Asbury & we appreciate them so very much!!
