Requirements
Education Level | Associates degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. District may consider experience in lieu of education. |

Experience Desired | A minimum of three years law enforcement or security experience. |
Physical Requirements | This position will require standing for extended periods of time, walking, and lifting of up to 40 lbs. Some keyboarding and writing may also be required. |
Other Requirements | Excellent verbal communication and de-escalation skills. |

Receives Guidance From | Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, District Coordinator of Athletics |
Essential Function & Duties
This position will serve as the direct liaison between our contacted screening vendor and the district. Will be responsible for setting up the screening points before each event, tearing them down after an event, and will serve as the point of contact for screening questions.
Be present at all designated events at Howard Field including, but not limited to:
Football – Late August through November
Track and Field – Late March through May
Set up and tear down the security screening points (training provided).
Act as the liaison to:
On-duty police officers
Contracted security screeners
Other security personnel
Be the point of contact for security related questions.
Enforce the district’s security protocols for Howard Wood Field.

Often subjected to extremes of cold below 32 degrees and heat above 100 degrees. Occasionally subjected to extreme noise, odors, mist, dust, and poor ventilation.
