Essential Functions & Duties
Setting-up the Community Engagement Center at the beginning of each school year under the guidance of the Homeless Education Social Worker (BSW).
Maintain the daily operations of the Community Engagement Center by taking phone calls, answering email, and keeping data base of inventory.
Assisting families with access to classroom materials, clothing, and basic need items. This may include working daily Indian Education Liaisons, English Language Liaisons, and district Social Workers with accessing needed resources.
Communicate with families in person and on phone.
Work with families to make connections with agency resources.
Assist families with yearly online registration updates
Maintain confidentiality of students and families
Perform other duties as assigned.
