Physical Requirements | This position requires constant hand-eye, mind-eye coordination, hearing; intermittent holding, repetitive motions with wrists, hands, fingers, opening, pulling, reaching, sitting, sorting, speaking, talking, turning and writing. Frequent bending over, carrying, filing, grasping, keyboarding and stooping are required. |
Other Requirements | Demonstrated skill using a computer for word processing and data entry. May be required to complete a safety course/operation course for the use of production/power tools. |

Essential Functions & Duties
Assists teacher in identifying student needs.
Provides tutorial assistance for students in all classes.
Prepares instruction and supplementary materials.
Maintain familiarity with the operation of production/power tools and equipment.
Maintain proficiency in the safety measures and requirements of production/power tools.
Keeps records.
Checks papers, workbooks, homework and tests.
Assists students with makeup work.
Maintains student confidentiality.
Assists teachers in supervising students in the classroom.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Working Conditions
Climatic Environment | Inside & Outside
Occasionally subjected to outside and cold below 32 degrees, heat above 100 degrees, extreme noise, fumes, odors, dusts, and poor ventilation.
Hazards
Exposure to communicable diseases. Use of equipment that supports students or classroom instruction could be potentially hazardous. Caution required to avoid injury when using production/power tools.
