7.2 students learned about the importance of the Star Quilt from our OSO teacher Mrs. Zephier. What a fun lesson to start off their day.

Our 8th graders recently got to visit USD, SDSU and Auggie. Students got to meet faculty and students and see what each campus has to offer. What an awesome experience!

Mr. McHenry's 8th grade social studies classes started their Revolutionary War unit with creating battle plans. Each group had a leader (George Washington) and then the continental army was under "his" direction to create successful plans. Since they made battle plans at night by candlelight, the students used flashlights in the dark to recreate the scene.
