Thank you for the support of our Chick-fil-A Community Cares Night! We were able to raise $200 made from 25% of orders that evening! Thank you to all who came out to support and to Chick-fil-A for hosting this fundraiser. Thanks to the Dachtler family for organizing this event.

The third through fifth ULE (gifted education) students held a Food Truck Festival. They planned, designed, and presented their food trucks and menus. Students got a chance to order and get a sample of their menu. They used real-life math throughout the unit! Everything turned out great! Awesome project, Mrs. Robinson! So fun!

Congrats to these High Flyers! We are proud of you for being respectful, responsible, and safe!

3rd through 5th grade students got to hear the musical talents of some of the members of the SD Symphony on Friday morning! They learned about each instrument and got to ask them questions at the end! Thank you for the show!

Third graders visited residents at Dow Rummel and played card games, did puzzles, and interacted with them. We always enjoy visiting them! They liked our leprechaun decor we put on their doors too.

It is Read Across America Week! To celebrate, we will have a theme each day and a fun dress-up day tied in! Students, volunteers, and staff are encouraged to join in the fun! Reading is fun, our super-power, love, and a lifelong!

Last chance for the Book Fair on Mar 2 from 12:30-7:00pm. It will run online as well until March 5th.
Do you have family that lives out of town and would love to help your child get a new book at the book fair? You can create an eWallet and then send it to family who can add money onto the wallet for your child to spend at the book fair! How cool is that? Use the link in the comments to view our schools book fair page, see what books will be available and set up your eWallet!
Once set up it will take you to a page to fund your ewallet. You do not have to add anything to it if you do not want to. You can click share to send the link to family and friends. You can view your eWallet in your scholastics account under eWallets.

Don't forget about the Community Care Night Fundraiser at Chick-fil-A tonight from 4-8 pm!! Thanks for the support and spread the word!

We are proud to celebrate our High Flyers — students who showed outstanding respect, responsibility, and safety throughout the week! Your positive choices help make our school a welcoming and successful place for everyone. Keep soaring and setting a great example for others!

Our classrooms were filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of Valentine cheer today! Thank you to our amazing parents and volunteers who helped plan, organize, and support the parties. Your time and generosity made the day extra special for our students. We appreciate you!

All grades participate in Junior Achievement classes throughout the year. Volunteers from the community come in to teach various economics lessons. The third graders recently received their diplomas from the end of their course. So fun!

Miss Leloux's third graders took on a two week "Super Reader Challenge" in connection with the real Super Bowl! They read over 10,000 minutes as a class outside of school hours! In the end, the Seahawks won! Thanks for working hard at becoming better readers! Thanks to the parents who donated to our Tailgate Party!

Here are the High Flyers from last week! So proud of you!

Learning geography can be sweet! 🍪✨ Students in Miss Nelson’s class had fun decorating cookies to represent U.S. and South Dakota geography and created keys to explain their designs. Thanks for the volunteers who helped prepare these learning tools!
