Students earned a "Party on the Playground" for collecting 2,000 tickets in the month of September as a school for our PBIS behavior system! Way to go!! They enjoyed playing Spikeball, bubbles, hula hoops, scooters, dancing, tic tac toe, and so much more! Way to go kids for earning this fun prize!
Big thank you to the awesome Parent Trainers (Teresa, Alysha, Dana, Tiffany, Lyndsey, & Sarah) who helped out the past two weeks training all of our volunteers! Your time, patience, and dedication to training fellow parents and subs/volunteers makes a big difference for our school community! Week 2 of Chess Club and students are getting more comfortable playing the game. They are having lots of fun learning something new.
First School Store was a big hit! Everything ran so smoothly thanks to our 4th and 5th graders checking everyone out so quickly and the parents helping have everything organized. Thanks to the Rock family for getting everything ready each week. Funds earned each week go toward the 4th and 5th graders class trip. Thanks for the support!
Our first swimming Friday was at Embe last week! The kids had so much fun!

The first day of Chess Club was a hit!
David, chess master, brought some cool prizes for future Quiz Bowl winners. Thank you to David and the Kevan family for helping at Chess Club each week.
Our 4th grade students are exploring their Energy Conversions unit! This week, they built simple electrical systems powered by solar panels. Hands-on projects like this help students better understand how energy works in larger electrical systems.
September 17th is Constitution Day. Students learned all about the constitution's birthday and participated in related activities. All classrooms learned about Citizenship Day as well!
Lincoln High School seniors came to visit ACE on Tuesday. They played inside and outside with the kids! Everyone had a lot of fun! Thanks for visiting!
