
The Terry Redlin Soccer League starts September 14th! Have you signed up for FREE skills trainings and games to take place at Meldrum Park yet? This is a great opportunity you won't want to miss out on!!


Terry Redlin Elementary students are working hard at earning 6,000 SOAR slips by September 27th. Why? They want to participate in a Color Fun Run! Students earn SOAR slips for showing self-control, being on-task, having a positive attitude, and showing respect. Stay tuned as we will update each week on the number of slips we have earned so far! Our Color Fun Run will take place at Meldrum Park and families are invited to come and watch! It will be FUN!

We had the best 1st day of school at Terry Redlin! We had an all school assembly featuring Terry the Eagle, our amazing staff in costumes, and special guests from the Sioux Falls Fire Dept. thanks to Mrs. Ellens!! Staff had an afternoon coffee break from The Rainy Day Coffee Company, and we had a ton of fun all day long! Our students and staff are amazing! We wonder what we will do tomorrow?!?! Check this out! Brand new for the school year, you are invited to have your child walk to school with their classmates and a staff member. Meet at the Whittier Townhouse Playground at 7:30 to join the walk. We will do this every day this school year!

It was an epic battle of Rock-Paper-Scissors last week during back to school trainings. Who won between Mr. Rogness (5th Grade Teacher) and Mrs. Amdahl (Kindergarten)?!?

Tasty Treats stopped by Terry Redlin Elementary this past week thanks to King of Glory Church! The staff, including Mrs. Dobberpuhl (Principal) and Mr. Wagner (Assistant Principal) enjoyed a delicious frozen treat!

We will have a Resource Fair at Terry Redlin Elementary! Stop by one of the vendor booths during our Annual Updates Day (August 15th) and Open House (August 20th). Vendors will be set up in the school gym.

You don't want to miss this opportunity! The back to school open house for Native American students is Friday, August 9th at the Instructional Planning Center.

You get to meet your child's teacher, can register for school, fill out a free/reduced application, and get a food pantry ID card. King of Glory will be providing a free meal that evening as well! Average daily attendance for the 4th graders this year was 92.49%. Each student won a Chick-Fil-A meal, including the sauce! Thankful for the generous donation from Chick-Fil-A. The 3rd grade classes came in close second! Ending the year strong with Strive for Five: On time, all day, every day, each week.



This morning we had our Awards breakfast for EL Graduates, Improved Attendance, Perfect Attendance & 5th Grade Academic & Character Awards. #SOARON Eagles!!
