It is Homecoming Week at Lincoln High School starting on Monday! As one of their elementary feeder schools, we are going to celebrate with them with themed dress up days for student and staff!

We think the staff had as much fun as the students today at the Terry Redlin Color Run! Keep watching for more pictures!

Mrs. Ounnarath's Kindergarten class is learning about prepositions - in front of, behind, under, next to, on, and even on top of chairs. They are always learning (and having fun)!

We did it! Students at Terry Redlin Elementary earned over 6,000 SOAR slips! Today is the day - It's Color Run Day! Join us on the playground this afternoon! Kindergarten and 1st grade start at 1pm, 2nd and 3rd grades start at 1:30pm, and 4th and 5th grades start at 1:55pm. This will be fun!!

You know it is a good day when you get to hang out with Toby, our licensed therapy dog, in the Library! Mrs. Gould's 4th and 5th graders spent some time reading books with Toby and Mrs. Hage.

We honored students this morning at Terry Redlin Elementary during our very first ever SOARing Students breakfast celebration! Each month, we will recognize our students for showing our values of self-control, ownership, positive attitude, and being respectful. Familes were able to hear why their child was nominated this month from their teacher, heard a positive message from Assistant Superintendent Dr. Nold, enjoyed donuts and juice, and celebrated their child! We are proud of our incredible SOARing students and families!

Rock, Paper, Scissors and math facts? 1st graders practiced a version this game and were learning how to add! We have fun at Terry Redlin while we learn! Nice work, Ms. Sylvester's 1st graders!

The Terry Redlin Elementary Fun is tomorrow! You are invited to come and watch. The Color Run will take place on the Terry Redlin playground!

Who is excited? We are only 2 days away from the Terry Redlin Elementary Color Run!

4th and 5th grade students in Mrs. Gould's classroom learned all about Fall. They painted trees with forks using the beautiful Fall colors!

We are excited to celebrate Lincoln High School Homecoming week! Terry Redlin is a feeder school for Lincoln High School so we will celebrate with special dress up days. Students and staff are invited to participate! Go Pats!

Ms. Hansen's 3rd graders and Mrs. Naasz's Kindergarten students are buddies! One of the Ms. Hansen's students told her that Book Buddies is his favorite thing all week! Several Kindergarten students said, "I love my book buddy!"

The food pantry at Terry Redlin will be open today and every Tuesday that school is in session. Remember to show your blue ID card at Door B. If you need an ID card, please stop in the school office. The food pantry is open every Tuesday from 4-5pm.

Mrs. Magnuson's 2nd-4th graders kicked off Fall by exploring apples. They even made a no bake applesauce! Yum!

The Color Run on the Terry Redlin Elementary playground is this Friday!! Have you sent your T-shirt to school yet? It is going to be so much fun!

We found Ms. Vanden WynGaard's 1st grade celebrating with a little dance party this week! We work hard, we have fun, and we learn at Terry Redlin Elementary!

We have our first winners for the lunchroom Golden Spatula Award! Mrs. Kayl's first graders showed SOARing behavior at lunch including being respectful while eating, quieting down for dismissal, picking up their garbage before leaving their spot, and being respectful to others in the lunchroom including peers and adults. Way to go!

The Terry Redlin Elementary Color Run is this week! You are invited to come and watch as the event will take place at the school playground!

Did you know you can walk to school with your friends? Join Mr. Thom and your friends every morning at the Whittier Townhomes and walk to school. They meet on the playground and leave right at 7:30am. They even have treats (donut holes) some mornings!

The countdown is on! The Terry Redlin Elementary Color Run is this Friday! 5 Days to go!
