Student learning continues forward as Kindergarten Two-Way Immersion students are nearing the end of the school year. The goal for the writing unit of study is for students to know and use various text features, such as diagrams with prompting and support. Below are two student's writing samples, displaying success by using a sentence frame and a word bank to describe what they learned from listening to La luna, a non-fiction book. What joys and success students are experiencing through a student-centered approach to teaching and learning!

Here is the calendar with the dress up days. Let's celebrate the Festival of Nations Month!

Parent/guardian feedback is important to SFSD! We just launched a 7-question survey - which takes 5 minutes or less - to help guide the next steps toward becoming the BEST school district in the nation!
Check your email or paste this URL in your browser: https://survey.k12insight.com/r/QDVv1e
The survey is open until the end of the school year. Take the survey once for each child enrolled. If you prefer to only take it on, please reference the oldest child in your household. Thanks for your participation!
