Each Quarter we will hold an assembly honoring those students who were chosen by their teacher as the Oscar Wow recepient for their classroom. Yesterday at our assembly we recognized award winners, those students got to participate in a fun basketball compeition with their teacher! Not to mention - RING POPS for everyone! 👏
WHAT IS THE "OSCAR WOW" AWARD?
The Oscar Wow Award is given through teacher and staff nominations to students that consistently exceed expectations in and outside of the classroom. Students can also receive the award if they have shown increased improvement with academics and/or behavior. Nominations will be submitted every quarter to one student.
Awards will consist of a certificate highlighting their excellence, a picture taken with their teacher, a special surprise, and their photo displayed in the front hallway along with an individualized paragraph of recognition from the teacher!
