State testing for our Juniors begins tomorrow. This year, we will give the ACT.
Juniors will be the only students testing on March 11 and 12. Lincoln High School teachers have prepared ACT test-prep materials, which juniors will review with their advisory room teachers prior to testing. During testing times, freshmen and sophomores will participate in scheduled activities.
Sophomores will take the Pre-ACT on March 11, and Junior Achievement will work with freshmen and sophomores on March 12. This provides valuable exposure to ACT-style questions before students take the ACT in their junior year.
There is a Junior Testing Incentive for students who perform well on the ACT. Students who earn an 18 or higher may qualify for an exemption from semester exams during their senior year. Best of luck to all juniors who will be testing!
Seniors will report to LHS at approximately 11:30 a.m. on March 11 and 10:30 a.m. on March 12. Seniors will also have the opportunity to come in during testing times to complete make-up work or receive academic support from teachers.
