Both the Lincoln boy's and girl's soccer teams will be hosting their first round opponents in the State AA Tournament this Tuesday, October 7th on the LHS Turf Field.
The boy's performed beautifully all season, ending up with a record of 11-1-1 and earning them the #1 overall seed heading into the playoffs. They will play host to the Mitchell Kernels as Coach Alex Nelson and his side look to defend their state title from a season ago.
Our girl's team was also brilliant this year, finishing with a 7-2-3 overall record. They beat or tied a number of quality teams and earned themselves the #6 seed in the playoffs. As a result, they host the Watertown Arrows on Tuesday night right before the boy's game.
The girl's contest will take place at 5 PM and the boy's match will follow at 7PM. Come and cheer on both Patriot squads as they embark on their respective postseason journeys!
