JFK Lunchroom Staff

Many staff members interact with students at JFK, but few see ALL the students at JFK on a daily basis.

Ms. Marissa is our Lead Lunchroom staff at JFK. She greets students daily as they come to breakfast and lunch. Ms. Marissa is constantly giving encouragement to children, helping them fuel themselves for the day ahead. Because of her daily interactions, many JFK students may recognize Ms. Marissa if they see her in public and want to greet her.

Two additional Child Nutrition staff members join us daily at JFK to help, Mr. Gary and Ms. Shelley. Mr. Gary drives our meal truck and helps to serve students daily. Ms. Shelley helps to manage all the special diets at JFK while serving students. Together, these three staff members bring over 12 years of SFSD Child Nutrition Experience to our lunchroom.

Along with these three, many other staff members spend time assisting in the lunchroom. These staff help serve, provide help getting missing items, opening items, monitoring behavior and helping students line up for recess.
If the lunchroom is a somewhat new experience for your students, be sure to encourage them to raise their hands and ask for help as needed. Also, please encourage all students to continue to use their JFK SOAR’ing behavior while in this space. SAFE, ON-TASK, ALWAYS KIND, RESPECTFUL.
