Congrats to our Cavaliers at the National Speech and Debate Tournament! Teonna Randle placed 11th in Program Oral Interp, and Angeth Mayen took 14th in Dramatic Interp. Coach Dahle received his 4th Diamond award, and Beneyam Hassan was named National Student of the Year!
Jefferson will compete against Brandon Valley in the first round of the State Softball tournament on May 30th at 12:30 PM. The AA games are scheduled to take place at Koehler Hall of Fame Field on the Northern State University campus in Aberdeen.

Cavalier Seniors pursuing military careers were celebrated at yesterday's Military Recognition Ceremony. During the ceremony, students were honored by Sioux Falls School District Administration for their noble commitment to serve.
For the second year in a row, the Sioux Falls School District is proud to be called one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association for Music Merchants Foundation. This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our teachers, the commitment of our students, and to the close ties that have grown together over the years in our music education community. As we celebrate this recognition, let us also celebrate the power of music to inspire, educate, and unite us all.

Wow! SFSD is so grateful to the Sioux Falls STORM, LEVO, and media partners KELOLand TV for supporting Operation Hope & Caring where $18,417 was raised to support elementary schools that don't have PTAs/PTOs. We had a great time at the game and especially enjoyed the WIN! ❤️

Today the class of 2028 walked the halls for the first time! We welcomed current 8th graders planning to attend Jefferson next year to the building and gave them the opportunity to learn more about courage it takes to serve, lead, include, and compete as Cavaliers.
