Last Friday, students had an empowering day at INSPIRE, a STEM event for girls! 23 bright minds from JHS explored thrilling engineering careers and connected with industry professionals through engaging workshops at USD Sioux Falls.





The Cavalier Boys will face Mitchell in round 1 of State! To allow students and staff to attend the game, JHS will have an early release on Thursday, March 14th. School will be dismissed at 11:30 AM. Grab and go lunches will be available after 7th period. #GoCavsGo

Lets pack the Pentagon tonight as the Cavaliers hit the court! With their 45 - 41 win over Pierre, the girls advance and face O'Gorman tonight at 6pm. Tickets can be purchased at the box office, or through Ticketmaster. The game will also be streamed through SDPB. #GoCavsGo


Today, Mrs Kruger's chemistry students learned about the factors that affect the rate of a chemical reaction. They used magnetic and glass marbles to show different types of reactants, and threw them to create products of chemical reactions.

Congratulations to the Girls Basketball Team for their Friday night win over Watertown to advance to the State Tournament. The Cavaliers will take on the Pierre Governors Thursday afternoon at the Sanford Pentagon. JHS will have a shortened school schedule on Thursday. #GoCavs
