1,587 Sioux Falls Public School Students to be Honored at Sunday’s Graduation Ceremonies

More than 1,500 students who have attained senior status by the start of the Spring 2022 semester will walk across the stage on Sunday, May 29 to be recognized for their academic and personal accomplishments. 

Sunday’s graduation ceremonies are scheduled at the Sioux Falls Arena as follows: 

  • Roosevelt High School at 11 am with 505 graduates 
  • Washington High School at 1:45 pm with 417 graduates 
  • Lincoln High School at 4:30 pm with 502 graduates 
  • Jefferson High School at 7:15 pm with 163 graduates

Class of 2022 Highlights:

  • 500 students are recognized as Regents Scholars by the South Dakota Department of Education 
  • 235 students are members of National Honors Society 
  • 180 students are recognized as Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars by the College Board
  • 17 students are National Merit Finalists 
  • 472 students are Presidential Education Award Winners
  • 313 students have earned the Advanced Placement Achievement Award
