Students in Mr. Balkovic’s Modern US History class recently wrapped up their World War II unit with a creative challenge. Each student created an original piece of art in any medium that reflected what they learned about the war and what resonated most with them. Alongside their artwork, students wrote a short artist statement describing the meaning behind their piece, turning the classroom into a thoughtful mini art gallery.
