Jefferson High School celebrated academic excellence last week during the Academic Letter Award Ceremony, honoring students grades 10-12 who achieved honor roll status last spring. Family, friends, and staff gathered to recognize the hard work, dedication, and perseverance these students have shown in their studies.
Guest speaker Jason Freeman, a local motivational speaker and host of the Awkwardly Awesome podcast, delivered an encouraging message to students. He reminded them that greatness doesn’t require perfection, and striving to do their best is something to be proud of. Freeman emphasized that everyone can pursue their dreams just as they are—awkwardly awesome included.
