Last Friday we kicked off our One Book One School event with an assembly, surprising the students with the book that will be read by all. The book is Mr. Popper's Penguins. It was fun watching all the kids cheer on one another as their names were called to reveal a clue under each balloon.
After school, staff members decorated the library for students to see on Monday morning! I think it is safe to say that the students are excited to read Mr. Popper's Penguins.
