Human Services
All Human Services students study confidentiality, job shadow, and are CPR/AED certified.
Intro to Human Services
People-oriented occupations require training in human development, parenting, counseling, consumer services, and employment skills. Students identify possible career paths suitable to their interests, strengths, skills, and talents. Intro students prepare a resume and portfolio.
Guiding Youth & Families
Students explore careers related to working directly with youth, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Classroom topics include social issues, community resources, support agencies, family and work relationships, and legal issues.
Personal Services
Students learn the advanced study of human care and wellness while exploring communication strategies, dietetics and nutrition, exercise and fitness, first aid, ethics, legal issues, and event planning. This is a great choice for students who wish to go into the medical field, OT/PT, personal training, dietetics, cosmetology, etc.
