We are nearing the end of the 2021-2022 school year. Which means it's time to start thinking about how to keep students engaged and learning over the summer months!
The CTE Academy will once again be offering several summer camps that will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities. Currently scheduled offerings include camps in the field of healthcare, construction, welding, and culinary arts.
🩺 🔬 🧬 The Healthcare Camp will provide students the opportunity of exploring different careers in the field by meeting individuals in the industry and learning basic caretaking and lab science skills.
🔧 ⚙️ 🔨 Students who attend the Construction Camp will learn about basic safety, hand tool operation, and basic skills in the carpentry trade while getting to participate in building a project.
🔩 🥽 🔩 In the Nuts, Bolts, and Thingamijigs camp, students will learn about welding safety, have the opportunity to see large-scale welding at a local business, and create their own welding project.
🍪 🍮 🍰 The Culinary Baking Camp will equip students with new skills, recipes, and plenty of baked goods.
