The second grade students showed their scientific skills by working to create a better glue for our school.
The classes first chose the properties they wanted their glue to have and together decided on their design goals.
Students observed and tested many ingredients and came up with a mixture that consisted of corn syrup, water, gelatin and flour.
The classes then made picture frames with popsicle sticks that were glued together with their mixture.

Congratulations to this week's CUBS COUNT winners.
These students were here each day, on time this whole week!

Cleveland Cubs Win the SOUPer Bowl!
Were you rooting for the Chiefs or the 49ers to win last night? No matter if your team won or lost, Cleveland Cubs rocked the SOUPer Bowl! 5th grade won the class challenge by brining 286 cans! As a school, students donated 1,300 cans of food! All cans will be donated to The Banquet. The Banquet is a place in Sioux Falls that helps to provide food to adults and families that are in need. Thank you to our 5th Graders, Mrs. Meyer, and Ms. Kuyper for organizing this opportunity for Cleveland to give to our community. Way to go, Cubs!
