THANK YOU for supporting our school fundraiser by purchasing smencils! We made $600 for our school PTA to plan and fund more fun activities for Cleveland! Our next fundraiser will be next month!
If you would still like to purchase a smencil there are 40 left. Please send $2.00 to school with your child and they can visit Mrs. Lafrentz in room 102 to choose from the scents that are remaining.

Teachers from Cleveland and Susan B. Anthony came together this morning for professional learning. The day started with a Team Builder, which tied in with the work around Clarity for Learning that has been a major focus for the past several years.
Clarity for learning is important for elementary students because it helps them understand what they are learning, why they are learning it, and how they will know they have learned it.
Mark your calendars for Friday, October 18th from 3:30-6:00. There will be a FREE KIDZ COAT event at the Downtown Library.

Thursday, October 31st, Cleveland students are able to come to school dressed up as their favorite book character. Join in the FUN!
We still have SMENCILS left so are adding ONE additional day to have them for sale!! Look for Mrs. Winterton or Mrs. Lafrentz on the playground tomorrow, October 10th, from 2:50-3:05 to make your final purchases.

Cleveland PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is excited to announce the first after school fundraiser of the year! Smencils will be sold for $2.00 on October 8th and 9th on the playground from 2:50-3:05. Look for Mrs. Winterton or Mrs. Lafrentz on the playground to help support our PTA's first fundraiser of the year! This will help Cleveland PTA put on more fun events like the party in the gym we had at Open House!
This year's Smencil Theme is XTREME SPORTS. The scents are blueberry, bubble gum, cherry, grape, kiwi, lemon, orange, pineapple, strawberry and watermelon. If you would like to bring your $2.00 before October 8th so you don't forget, just give it to your teacher and they will keep it safe for you until the fundraiser!
