Kindness Tree

Teachers are Cleveland were encouraged to do A Random Act of Kindness with their class. Here's a look at a few things that the students did to show kindness.

Emma DeVos, 3rd Grade Teacher

“For the whole month of December, we have been working towards being kind to each other. When they are kind, I give them a ROAR slip with "kindness" written on it. If they have received a kindness ROAR slip, they are able to put an ornament on the Kindness Tree. Before today, I have seen so many acts of kindness in the class. However, this morning we did a challenge to draw a name and give them a kind note. It's safe to say, our tree is looking really full. They are starting to realize how good it feels to be kind to others, and have them be kind back!”

Stephanie Kessler, Kindergarten Teacher

K03 made Christmas/winter cards that I am going to bring to the Children's hospital.

Ashley Winterton, 2nd Grade Teacher

203 made holiday decorations for 201 and 202.
