Beginning this year, our 8th grade girls were offered the opportunity to attend a Power Lunch session during their lunch hour.
Once a month, a small group of 8th grade girls will enjoy a free catered lunch and hear from women in various careers as guest speakers. This allows girls to learn about potential career options, work on identifying their own strengths and interests, gain confidence about their future and how to thrive in that field.
Lindsey Carmon, 8th grade Counselor at Ben Reifel, says, "It gives students an opportunity to learn about women in careers that students may never have thought of before."
Kimber Severson & Brooke Fitts will be leading the sessions at Ben Reifel this year. We look forward to future sessions for our 8th grade girls.
