Rick Jensen

Rick Jensen

Band

My name is Rick Jensen and I am happy to be teaching middle school band! I have taught band at all grade levels since 1990, mostly in the Sioux Falls School District. My professional passion is helping students learn about themselves and grow as individuals while practicing the art and craft of music. I love seeing my students choose to continue playing their instrument into high school and beyond. Away from school I enjoy playing percussion in the South Dakota Symphony and occasionally at my church.

If you want to really make my day, ask me about my two grown children or my two dogs.
