At Terry Redlin Elementary, we are committed to building strong parent-school relationships. Our school level Parent Involvement Policy identifies the strategies and opportunities for interaction between parents and our school. As a school team we shall include opportunities for parents to be involved in the creation and implementation of the school level Parent Involvement Policy (Policy Involvement).
The PTA Meeting is TONIGHT! Join us in Terry Redlin as we will be talking about the Holiday Party and the Fundraiser status! Please note that unless the teacher asks you specifically to bring treats, they are NOT expected or encouraged as deliveries throughout the day interrupt learning for our students. The PTA will provide treats and drinks.
Get in the habit NOW of sending your student to school with a hat, mittens/gloves, snow pants, boots and a winter coat. If you would like a separate bag to keep these items in (which makes for easy transport to and from school) please stop in the office. Whenever it is not raining and the temperature is above 0 degrees, students will be outside before school and at recess. We will not be inside because it is snowing.
Please label ALL of your child’s winter gear. Our ‘lost and found’ overflows with un-claimed/un-labeled winter hats, snow pants, and gloves every year. Save yourself money, time and hassle, and label your child’s clothing and talk to them about being responsible with their belongings.
