School Closing and Cancellations
The decision to close school because of inclement weather or other emergencies that threaten the health or safety of students and staff members will be made by the Superintendent or designee on the basis of conditions within the School District.
Should it become necessary to close any or all schools, notification of such closings will be given according to pre-planned notification procedures that have been communicated in advance to employees and the public.
Employees will make up days missed for inclement weather or other emergencies in accordance with provisions in their respective negotiated agreements.
