Gold cards are available at NO charge to Sioux Falls and surrounding community residents 60 years or older!
The Sioux Falls School District is excited to welcome your participation in our public school and community events through the Gold Card Club! As a valued Gold Card Member, you can enjoy several Member perks:
- Discounted entrance fee to most public school sporting and fine art events. The cost is only $1!
- Biannual Community Education Catalogs mailed directly to you!
- Invitations to Gold Card Series Events!
Gold Card Series Events are provided by the joint efforts of Community Education and the Fine Arts Department. You will have the opportunity to see talent from elementary, middle and high school students while also learning something new! The Series is held at a variety of school buildings and may sometimes include a meal. Minimal fees may be required for Gold Card Events.
Please note that the discounted rates for public school sporting events will be available as long as you are able to show your Gold Card*.
Event invitations and Community Education Catalogs will be sent to you for the first 4 years of your membership and will continue as long as you participate in at least one event/class per 4 years OR if you contact the Community Education department directly to request that the mailings continue to be sent to you.
*If you misplace or lose your Gold Card in the future, please contact the Community Education office for a new card. The Community Education office is located at the Sioux Falls School District Instructional Planning Center, 201 E. 38th Street, and can be reached at (605) 367-7999

Gold Card Spring 2019 - Gifted Services
Join us for morning coffee and a presentation of the Sioux Falls School District’s Gifted Services program.
Our district recognizes the learning and developmental differences of students with gifts and talents and promotes ongoing self-understanding through cognitive and affective growth.
Our teachers provide theory and research-based models of curriculum and instruction to foster personal and social responsibility, multicultural competence, and interpersonal and technical communications skills for leadership in the 21st century.
