The Office of Community Relations/Community Education coordinates activities that link the School District with the community. The office serves as a liaison between the schools and the public, interpreting District policies and procedures to the community and helping community members access appropriate District resources.

Community Education serves ages kindergarten through adult with a variety of enrichment programs. The mission of Community Education is "to improve community life and the lives of individuals by providing positive experiences and learning opportunities." Community Education includes Kids Incorporated after school sites, the Kids Incorporated summer program, summer enrichment camps for middle school students, drivers' education, ACT prep courses, and three sessions (fall, winter and spring) of adult enrichment classes. Community Education programs are self-supporting through the enterprise fund.

KLRN provides programming from the public schools, broadcasts School Board meetings, and provides a public bulletin board of school and community events as well as District job postings.
